Washington Wolfpack Sign Travis Alvarez

The Washington Wolfpack have further bulked up their offensive line with the signing of another veteran offensive lineman. Travis Alavarez has spent time with multiple professional fifty-yard teams and brings size, strength, and versatility to the offensive line.

"Travis Alvarez is the definition of a Swiss Army knife," said Coach JR Wells, "dominating offense, defense, and special teams with one mission: control the trenches and change the game every snap. That's what dominance looks like."

Standing at 6-8 and weighing in at 335 pounds, Alvarez brings dominating size and strength to the offensive line and delivers the flexibility to play defensively and on special teams. "When you have a 6-8, 335-pound force who moves like a receiver, you don't just have an offensive lineman - you have a weapon," said Head Coach JR Wells. With his size, strength, and experience, Alvarez has the opportunity to immediately make an impact on the offensive line.

Alvarez played collegiately at SUNY Cortland and was a regular contributor on special teams as well as along the offensive line. During his collegiate career, he blocked 11 kicks in 45 games. He also started a majority of those games on the offensive line for Cortland as well.

"Do you know what my favorite part of the game is? The opportunity to play," said Travis Alavarez.

After college, Alvarez has spent time with multiple arena and indoor teams, most recently in 2024 on the Orlando Predators. His experience and tenacity on the offensive line will be an asset as the Wolfpack prepare for 2026.

The Washington Wolfpack kick off their season on April 12 against the rival Oregon Lightning at Angel of the Winds Arena. Season Tickets are on sale now and we need every member of the Pack to show up and show out for every single home game.
