Meet the Wolfpack: Mike Fields - Defensive Line

Mike Fields - Defensive Line

Measureables: 6'3" - 290lbs

Mike Fields joins the Washington Wolfpack after spending the second half of the 2025 season with the Oregon Lightning. Fields is a wrecking ball and a sack specialist. The big man hails from Suffolk, Virginia, where he played his high school football at Nansemond River High School.

After completing high school, Fields took a different route than most. He joined the US Army, where he served as an 11C, an Infantry Mortarman on active duty. After his service to the Army, Fields found himself back on the football field wreaking havoc for the Duluth Harbor Monsters. Fields was an integral part of the team winning their second straight league championship.

He joined the Oregon Lightning last year, midway through the Arena Football One season. He made an immediate impact on their defense and was named the AF1 Defensive Player of the Week in Week 8 when he racked up 5 solo tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble. Fields is a great addition to the Wolfpack, and we look forward to having him wreak havoc in a Wolfpack uniform in 2026.
