Meet the Wolfpack: Machiah Lee - Defensive Back

Michiah Lee is a familiar face in Everette. The defensive back has been a part of the Wolfpack family since 2024. Machiah is a local player, calling Tacoma, Washington, home. He is the son of James Lee and Vesta Morales. Machiah is the second of seven siblings in his family. He starred at Bethel High School in Spanaway, Washington, where he lettered as a team captain for all three years of high school. Lee was named an All-League and All-State selection at defensive back as a senior, a two-time All-League honorable mention, and was voted team MVP as a senior.
After high school, Machiah attended Western Oregon University and made an immediate impact as a freshman with the Wolves (born to be a playmaker for Wolf teams!). Lee appeared in 11 games as a freshman and racked up 10 tackles against Azusa Pacific. He would go on to play in 42 games for Western Oregon.
Machiah came to the Wolfpack in 2024 and immediately became a star on defense for the team. Lee was named the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year for the Wolfpack and earned All-League Honors. Over two seasons here in Washington, Machiah has trolled up 62 tackles, 11 pass breakups, six interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
