LaTraviaus Kingsland comes to the Washington Wolfpack from the Australian Football League. The lockdown defensive back hails from Anchorage, Alaska. The son of Jimmy Kennedy and Tracie Kingsland played his high school football at Bartlett High School. After high school, Kingsland attended the University of Dubuque and Allan Hancock College before finding his home in Fremont, Nebraska, at Midland University.

Throughout Kingsland’s collegiate career, he put up some pretty impressive stats. 146 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 21 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery, 11 kick returns for 218 yards, and he even recorded 1 catch for 15 yards. During his sophomore and junior seasons, Kingsland didn’t give up a single touchdown, and only allowed three his entire college career.

LaTraviaus grew up in the same hometown as Defensive Coordinator (Dee Milly) Devlin Myles. He grew up watching Myles and Wolfpack Head Coach Jr Wells play on the gridiron, and now he gets the opportunity to play for them. Something Kingsland is both proud of and excited for!
