Meet the Wolfpack: Cameron Hinson - Defensive Back

Cameron Hinson - defensive back
5'10' 195lbs
Cameron Hinson is an electric defensive ball hawk. The Suwanee, Georgia native is the son of Tzegai Hinson and Tammy Waggner. He starred at North Gwinnett High School and then at Chelsea High School. He began his college career at Carson Newman with the Eagles, where the first interception of his career was a pick-six. He continued that tradition at Kentucky State by ending his career with another pick-six as his final turnover for the Thorobreds.
Head Coach JR Wells said about Hinson, "A true diamond in the rough with a high football IQ, physicality at the point of attack, and sharp with his feet. That's a dangerous combination, and it's going to make our secondary extremely competitive in camp. We are excited to see how he brings that edge to the arena game."
There are two things Wolfpack fans need to know about Cameron Hinson. First, he’s an electric player who thrives on creating turnovers on defense. The second, “That ball is mine!”
